2018 Austin Fashion Show
At the beginning of April, I had the honor of attending the Austin Fashion Show. It was all the glitz and glamour you could imagine, all while giving off urban-jungle, and street-style vibes. And I was 100% here for it.
As I watched the models grace the catwalk in stunning, fresh looks, I was vigorously making mental notes, as well as thinking to myself: “yes, I will take one of those, and I would like that outfit, and that one…” So without further ado, I would like to share with you some of my most favorite looks from the Austin Fashion Show (tbh, I had a hard time whittling it down to just these):
I loved how fresh these looks are! I could see myself wearing each piece at work, or out and about running errands.
Serving looks, after looks! I wanted to buy all her gowns!
Idk about you, but I’m feeling 22... jk, jk, but I've been seeing retro rainbow stripes everywhere, and I'm 100% here for it! I loved how she designed an off-the-shoulder top and vest duster in the rainbow stripe pattern.
Yes, I know I typically blog about women's fashion, but I felt I needed to share these looks with you! I always love black, and pops of color (definitely vibing red lately) so these looks really stood out to me.
I was getting Coachella-vibes with this line, and who knows, maybe I just purchased all these items to wear to ACL this year.
Oh. My. Goodness. I am low-key obsessed with all these looks! As each model graced the catwalk, I just stared in awe. I especially love the colors!
As I was going back through these photos of Katie Kime's line and was thinking: “OMFG, yes!" I remember watching the models walk and mentally adding each clothing piece to my pretend shopping cart. I mean I could see myself wearing every piece to work, out on the town, on a date night with the hubby, on vacation, or running errands looking fashionable AF!
I'm really into jumpers right now, so I was absolutely loving the white jumper with the cut-out detail. I’m also obsessed with the kimonos and how she had them layered over gorgeous flare-pants! It was giving me all the feels!
Serving look after look! I was obsessing over his line. I'm a serious sucker for tulle skirts, so when I saw the tulle skirt and red lace top, I had to pick my jaw off the floor. I probs shoulda just left it, because my jaw hit the floor again when the model wearing the one-shoulder white dress with the feather and beaded sleeve detail graced the catwalk.
