Hello Friend!

Welcome to my blog, I'm so glad you decided to stop by! I like to call myself a Lifestyle Blogger, since I cover so much in my writing. However, I tend to focus mostly on street-fashion and beauty. On the main page you will find all my blog posts, I definitely don't take myself too seriously, so I try to keep all my posts lighthearted and funny. Hope you have a nice stay!

Comfy, Cozy & Classy

Comfy, Cozy & Classy

I don’t know about you, but all this rainy Texas weather has me wanting to snuggle, cuddle, and just be an all-around comfy sloth – not to mention these dreary skies are making it hard for me and my pupper to go outside. Yet, regardless of how rainy this weather gets, life goes on, and I still must get dressed and go to work… but that doesn’t mean I can’t be comfortable while doing so!

On a typical rainy day when I’m not working, I’m absolutely spending the day inside. I like to get comfy and cozy up with my pup, a book (or a good Netflix show), and a warm cup of coffee/tea. However, rainy weather during the work week makes it a bit harder to find the motivation to get up, get dressed, and look cute. Buuuut, good news: I have found the solution to all my rainy-work-day problems, and it is this outfit!

This by far is the comfiest outfit I have ever blogged about, and let me tell ya, I’m always down for a cute, comfy look.

First of all, the ultra-cozy off-the-shoulder sweater melts anyone’s icy cold heart. It’s simple yet brings a bunch of fun elements to a basic slouchy sweater. You have the off-the-shoulder detail and the subtle bell sleeve detail, mixed with a soft oatmeal color – there you have the ideal combination for the perfect cozy-sweater.

The pants are incredibly chic. I’m always here for a good black or dark wash denim color pant. It’s a quick and easy way to add balance to any outfit. Dark or solid colored pants can also help ground a bold top or jacket. Or on the opposite end of the spectrum, it can just add an element of simplicity to a classy outfit (like what I’ve decided to do). These pants happen to feature a slight flare at the hem, and I must say – I’m definitely vibing them. The pants are incredibly soft… like really, REALLY soft. I had to double check the tag to make sure I wasn’t buying yet another pair of yoga pants because of how soft the material was. These pants are a sneaky way to wrap your thighs in the most comfortable fabric, yet they’re still work and date-night appropriate – win/win.

I opted for a classy leopard print clutch to tie all the colors together. For the finishing touches – my favorite nude heels along with rose gold and black colored jewels.
